'Our first day back on Tour for a while and a good start for us at the Open de Andalucia de Golf! Danny Vancsik finished an impressive -4 , just one off the lead. We have an an intensive few days here in Spain in the lead up to this tournament and I was pleased to see the hard work paying off! Now we must focus hard on building on this momentum tomorrow.....
This week I have also continuted my work with Marco Ruiz, Fabrizio Zanotti and Peter Baker who all played well today.....'

Close Call for Vancsik

It was a close call for Daniel Vancsik as he kept up his great form for 2009 when he returned home to play in the Agentinian Masters last week. He finished 2nd behind Tom Lehman carding a best-of-the-week 6-under par 65 in the last round. Vancsik moved into the distant second along with his countryman Miguel Carballo, ...who shot 67. Danny now moves on to this week's Agentinian Open hoping to go one better. Good Luck Danny.
Ruiz Gets his Card at School

Marco Ruiz from Paraguay, a recent convert to Right Sided Golf achieved success at this year's European Tour Qualifying School. This gruelling event, played over six rounds is one of the most pressurised events for any professional golfer. His stunning 65 in the final round saw him finish in a tie for 4th and gain his ...European Tour card for next season. Well done Marco, now onto the 2010 Race to Dubai!

Congratulations Rebecca Flood

...on your successfully qualifying for Tour School. Rebecca finished 15th in the 5 Round Duramed futures tour qualifying school in Florida and will be fully exempt for next year in America. Her first three rounds of 69 72 and 70 all but assured her of exempt status for 2010. This was her first trip to the USA where she was as she was unable to attend the first stage of Lpga qualifying due to commitments with the Australian team but will go to qualifying in Europe.

4 out of 5 in the bag for Floody
After 4 rounds of Tour School Floody is in great shape in a tie for 11th place, 1 under par for the tournament.Although not holing as many putts as she would like her ball striking has been awesome to watch this week in tough windy conditions.
Anyone wanting to see someone have control over there ball wouldn't go far wrong watching her play (and girls are not meant to be able to do this Right Sided lark). We have had more than one or two of the American players watching her hit balls on the range this week (she sticks out a little, to say the least).
With 1 round to go and only 30 players gaining their card, Floody needs a solid final round to be in with a chance and gain her card. Fingers crossed she keeps it going.

News from the US - Rebecca Flood

Having returned briefly from the Singapore Open, Luke is in the US this week assisting Australian golfer Rebecca Flood as she attempts to qualify for Tour School.
This will be a long week for Floody needing to finish in the top 30 to gain her card over 5 rounds ....but this was nevertheless a great start

Welcome to the new Right Sided Golf Academy Blog
An example of effectiveness of our teaching method can be found in European Tour pro Daniel Vancsik who within a matter of weeks of working with our senior instructor Luke Ringrose, achieved victory at the Italian Open putting six shots between himself and the rest of the field. 'The main aim was to add consistency and accuracy to his renowned length off the tee. Within the first few lessons Danny had more control without loosing his power and natural feel.
We have had numerous successes this season with our professionals which we are extremely proud of but at a local level we are achieving similar results. Many of our clients are impressed with the instant results they achieve in every lesson and are going onto gain significant wins in local club competitions.
This winter we will be promoting a wide range of incentives to make Right Sided Golf Tuition available to players at all levels with lessons from as little as £7.50. Our 30 bay flood lit driving range is accompanied by a state of the art swing studio, the perfect place to practice and improve this winter.
Follow this blog and we will keep you posted on all our news, events and offers along with free tips and video downloads.
